Before the Inspector arrives for a Mold Inspection, please prepare a clear path to all areas that need to be analyzed including windows, HVAC vents and registers, sinks, bathtubs, refrigerators, fish tanks, water heaters, exterior doorways, window units, etc. as well as any surface with visible suspicious microbial activity that needs to be analyzed such as walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, closets, etc. Also, if HVAC filter is replaced prior to inspectors’ arrival please do not discard the used filter until after the Inspector analyzes the used filter to be included in the report.
